Tuva and Accelerate Learning announce partnership to enable STEMscopes teachers align to the Next Gen Science Standards
NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2017 – As part of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), students are expected to engage in Science and Engineering Practices, including analyzing and interpreting data and using mathematics and computational thinking. To assist teachers in helping students meet these expectations, Accelerate Learning has partnered with Tuva to integrate Tuva’s datasets and interactive, research-based data, graphing, and statistical tools into the STEMscopes™ NGSS comprehensive online science curriculum.

By integrating Tuva datasets and interactive graphing and statistical tools into its lessons, STEMscopes NGSS provides expanded, authentic opportunities for inquiry-based learning. Using the datasets, students can observe real-world phenomena through the lens of graphical representations, tables, and charts, and then analyze and interpret the data just like real-world scientists and engineers.
