Launch of The Tuva OpenSciEd Companion brings interactive data tools into OpenSciEd instruction

New York, NY — June 9, 2026 — Tuva and OpenSciEd today announced a major expansion of their long-standing collaboration with the release of the Tuva OpenSciEd Companion, a certified supplementary product built to support data-rich portions of the OpenSciEd curriculum through interactive tools and lesson-aligned resources. Optimized for seamless integration, the companion is intended to be used alongside existing OpenSciEd materials rather than as a standalone curriculum.

After initially partnering in 2021 to bring a selection of datasets into OpenSciEd’s middle school courses, this new milestone marks a significant evolution in the organizations’ shared relationship.
