In this extended workshop, science leaders will learn to support K–12 teachers in bringing data-rich experiences into their classrooms using Tuva’s supplementary program.

Data literacy isn’t emphasized in teacher training, so many times teachers feel unprepared to integrate data into their instruction. During the session, you’ll explore Tuva’s datasets and content libraries, test drive lessons, and use interactive data, graphing, and statistics tools, including uploading and exploring student-collected data. By the end, you’ll be ready to help teachers make science learning more interactive, meaningful, and data-rich.
