Mealworm Life Cycle Activity (STEMscopes TN 3.LS1.1, Explore 2)
Task
Use this resource with STEMscopes TN Scope 3.LS1.1 Life Cycles during the Explore 2: Mealworm Life Cycle Activity. Instead of entering the data on the STEMscopes handout, have the students input the data on Tuva. By entering the data into Tuva, students will have the opportunity to dynamically explore and visualize their data.
After scientists collect data, they make graphs. The graphs help them figure out what the data shows. Over the next few days, you will be collecting data about your mealworms. You'll keep track of the data here. Then, you'll make graphs of it. The graphs will help you answer questions.
