During Part III of Explore 1: Activity - Experimenting with Forces, students are asked to design an experiment and to collect data. Use Tuva Jr. to help students organize their data. Then, they can use Tuva Jr. to dynamically explore and visualize their data and share their results. How Tuva Jr. Enhances the Lesson We save the data digitally, so students cannot lose track of their data sheet. Tuva Jr.'s case cards scaffold the data collection process, first requiring students to slow down and think about what data they want to collect. When students have a chance to actively explore their data using multiple modalities, it deepens their understanding.
