Characteristics of Quadratic Polynomials - Part II
Task
Task Introduction In this task, students work with graphs of quadratic polynomials to describe their end behavior, identify real roots (one positive and one negative), find out if the leading coefficient is positive or negative. They also find the domain and range of the function using the end behavior and the vertex. Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to: Describe the end behavior of the quadratic polynomial Identify if the polynomial has an even or odd degree Identify if the leading coefficient is positive or negative Identify real roots and the y-intercept Use the x-intercepts to find at least one factor Determine the domain and the range of the quadratic function
