What Determines the Climate? - Elaborate (Part I)
Lesson
Our Changing Atmosphere Exploratorium Snack Note: This activity works best with multiple groups, with each group graphing a different year’s data. In the activity students graph carbon dioxide data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to learn about natural cycles and unnatural changes in our atmosphere. You might choose to have 8 groups in one class complete a portion of the data on one day and review just with one class. Alternatively, you could spread this activity across all of your science classes for a day by expanding the number of years in your data set. Students would then be able to review the more extensive graph for all classes the next day. (Note: This will take significantly more wall space.
