Nonlinear Modeling using the Equation Editor (v2)
Lesson
Nonlinear Modeling using the Equation Editor In linear models, the effect of one variable on another stays constant—the slope does not change. In many real-world situations, however, this effect varies as values change. These relationships are better described using nonlinear models, where the rate of change itself changes across the data. Tuva’s Equation Editor lets you model nonlinear relationships by fitting curves to scatter plots. By adjusting parameters directly, you can see how changes in the equation reshape the curve and improve the fit to the data. [---cta ⚡ Ready to practice?
