Lesson Three
Lesson
Introduction In the previous lesson you learned how to: Color the dots by clicking on an attribute and making a “legend.” Find the details of a single case (a single dot) by clicking on it. Put attributes on axes to make different kinds of graphs. Find actual numbers of cases by using Count Filter the data to restrict it to a subset of the dataset. And you also know how to: Look at the shape, center, and spread of an attribute in a graph. Recognize the difference between categorical and quantitative attributes. In this lesson, you will: Expand on what you learned in the first two introductory lessons. Learn more ways to use the Tuva tool, and more ways to think about data. Focus on comparing categorical attributes across different groups Use the appropriate chart type to compare proportions
