Who Gets the Flu?
Data Story
Students make a claim about proportions of age groups diagnosed with flu in 2019-2020 and support that claim with evidence from stacked bar charts.
Welcome to this Tuva data story! Each year the winter flu season typically extends from early November through April or May, or sometimes longer. Each year different strains of flu viruses are prevalent. The Center for Disease Control maintains a "FluViewer" website, where you can track the number of cases of different strains for the flu virus in each age group by the week. In this data story, you will explore the proportions of flu infection among different age groups. Click Next to get started!
