In this lesson, students use scatter plots to answer the investigative questions: How strong is the association between height and arm span? Is height a useful predictor of arm span?
Welcome to this Tuva data story! The parent-teacher association at your school wants to raise money for school field trips and a new mural on campus. To do so, they want to sell “spirit wear” - sweatshirts and sweatpants with the school logo on them. They are trying to determine if they should sell the items separately, or bundle them together as a sweatsuit.
