Critique, Correct, Clarify (C^3^): Bones or No Bones Day?
Data Story
In this C^3^ data story, students decide when Noodle was more popular: on “bones” days or “no bones” days.
Welcome to this Tuva data story! Noodle was an elderly pug whose dog-dad, Jonathan, made videos about him on TikTok. Many of the videos are about whether or not Noodle has “bones." Noodle is determined to have bones if he stays standing up when lifted by his dad. If he immediately flops back down on his bed, he does not have bones. In 2021 Noodle became a TikTok sensation and was even invited on The Today Show twice. People tuned in almost daily for a “reading” of how the day was going to go, according to Noodle. Noodle passed away in December 2022, but his legacy lives on! In today’s data story you will be engaging in a Critique, Correct, and Clarify (C^3^) around the following argument: Noodle was most popular for his “no bones” days rather than his “bones” days.
