In this lesson, students use Tuva analysis tools to generate two numerical patterns using two given rules. (5.OA.B.3)
Two siblings receive a weekly allowance. The older sibling, John, gets $2 more a week than the younger sibling, Izzy. Both siblings start with $0 saved and are saving to buy each other birthday gifts. You will use data and graphs to identify patterns in each sibling's savings and explore how the two patterns are related.
